Employment Discrimination

and Retaliation

Federal and state law prohibit employers from discriminating against an employee or job applicant because of the person’s race, color, national origin or ancestry, religion, sex (including pregnancy), age, or disability. It is unlawful under both federal and state law for an employer to retaliate against an employee for opposing employment discrimination in the workplace, filing a discrimination charge, or testifying or participating in an investigation or proceeding regarding discrimination.

We represent workers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and go to court on their behalf in cases involving employment discrimination and retaliation. If you think that you have experienced illegal discrimination in the workplace, contact our office at (504) 603-1500.

We’d love to hear from you.

Please call or send us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
