Unpaid Wages And Overtime

Federal and state wage laws establish minimum wage, overtime pay, and record-keeping standards for employers. Wage violations can take many forms, such as failing to pay overtime to an employee who worked more than 40 hours in one week, misclassifying employees as independent contractors, misclassifying employees as exempt from overtime requirements, forcing employees to perform certain tasks “off the clock,” paying employees less than the minimum wage, and retaliating against employees who make complaints regarding unpaid wages.

We assist employees in recovering overtime wages and other unpaid wages. If your employer does not give you overtime pay, if you think your employer may owe you unpaid wages, if you are not sure whether you are being paid properly, or if your employer has retaliated against you after you made a wage-related complaint, contact our office at (504) 603-1500.

We’d love to hear from you.

Please call or send us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
